The calculator
How it is worked out
On an ordinary working day, hours up to the regular-hours threshold are paid at 100%. The first two overtime hours are paid at 125%, and every hour after them at 150%.
On the weekly rest day and on a holiday, regular hours are paid at 150%, the first two overtime hours at 175%, and every hour after them at 200%.
The daily threshold depends on how many days a week are worked and on the agreement that applies, so you can set it in the calculator. The default is 8 hours.
In the product it happens by itself
In the product, hours reports separate regular hours from hours at 125%, 150%, 175% and 200% on their own, from the actual punches and the rest days and holidays your business observes. Nobody has to work it out shift by shift.
