A shift that is never left short

While you assign, the product warns about overlaps, too little rest between shifts, somebody unavailable or on leave, and going over the hours limit. Licences and certificates

Record each person's licences and certificates with an expiry date, and require a certificate for a role. Assigning somebody who lacks it is flagged, and certificates about to lapse are flagged in advance.

Handover and on-call

The outgoing shift leaves a handover note with a severity and the incoming shift confirms they have read it. The on-call doctor appears on the rota as an on-call shift, so it is clear who to call at night.

Availability, requests and swaps

Staff submit weekly availability and leave requests from their phone. A swap between two nurses closes with the charge nurse's approval, and who asked, who approved and when is kept.
