Shift swaps
Staff request a replacement in the app. Track each request and approve changes according to your business rules.
Your team submits availability, you build the schedule, and everyone gets the update. Manage shift swaps, time off and working hours with Mishmarotix, on a computer or phone.
Each person submits the days and hours they can work. Their availability is there when you build the schedule.
Plan shifts around your staffing needs and team availability. Publish the schedule when it is ready.
Keep track of swaps, time-off requests and attendance in the same place after the schedule is published.
Keep the details of each shift together: who is scheduled, what has changed and how many hours were worked.
Every shift is checked before the schedule reaches the team. You are warned about:
Staff request a replacement in the app. Track each request and approve changes according to your business rules.
Staff record when they start and finish. Review their working hours and bring them together in an attendance report.
Collect working hours, calculate tip allocations and export reports for payroll preparation.
Manage your business teams in the same app, with departments, locations and manager permissions.
| Spreadsheet + WhatsApp | Mishmarotix | |
|---|---|---|
| How the schedule reaches the team | A file or a screenshot posted to the group | Published to each employee’s phone, in their language |
| A shift swap | Agreed in messages or out loud | Keeps who asked, who decided and when |
| Hours at month end | Put together by hand from several lists | A monthly report that separates regular hours from overtime |
The comparison is with the common routine of a file and a messaging group, not with another scheduling product.
Teams working shifts in restaurants and cafes, retail, security and control rooms, logistics, manufacturing, clinics and driving schools.
Most businesses run shifts on a spreadsheet and a WhatsApp group. That works until somebody answers the old version of the schedule, until a swap is agreed out loud and nobody remembers who approved it, and until the end of the month arrives and the hours have to be assembled from three different lists.
The problem is not the absence of a grid. It is that the decisions — who was approved, who covered for whom, why those hours were recorded — live in conversations rather than in one place. Mishmarotix is built around that: every request keeps who asked, who decided and when.
The system knows Israeli employment rules. Assigning a shift warns about too little rest between shifts and going over the weekly hours cap, night shifts are flagged separately, and reports separate regular hours from hours at 125%, 150%, 175% and 200%.
Employees can hold qualifications with an expiry date, a role can require one, and anything about to lapse is flagged in advance. A month that has been checked can be locked, and from then the figures do not move — so a report handed to bookkeeping is the same report six months later.
Anyone running more than one location defines sites, the departments inside them and roles, and an employee can belong to more than one site.
The move. Start with one site and run it alongside what you have until you trust it; the staff list comes in from an Excel file or straight from the clipboard, and a schedule arrives as a draft and is published when you decide.
The data. Sensitive details such as identity and bank account numbers are stored encrypted, an employee sees their own and a manager their department, and support entering a company is recorded in that company’s security log.
And the price. The trial is free and needs no credit card, so a real schedule can be built with your team before anything is decided. The length of the trial, the one-time setup fee and the monthly price per user are on the pricing page.
The price depends on the number of users: a one-time setup fee and a monthly price per user. Add-on packages, such as automatic scheduling or tips, are bought once and kept. Full prices are on the pricing page.

Yes. Staff, the rota and takings come in from an Excel or CSV file, and you can start with one department alongside what you use today.
If the team works in shifts, most likely: restaurants, security, support centres, clinics, warehouses, shops, factories, hotels, cleaning and events. You pick your trade when signing up, and the job titles and screens arrive ready.
