Accessibility statement · Mishmarotix
Mishmarotix's accessibility statement under IS 5568 and WCAG 2.1 AA: what was checked, the accessibility features, known limitations and where to write.
What we have done to make the service accessible, what has not been checked yet, and where to write.
Our commitment
Mishmarotix works to make its website and app accessible to people with disabilities, under the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the WCAG guidelines at level AA.
What was checked
- On September 15, 2026, every screen of the website and the app was scanned with the axe automated testing tool against WCAG 2.1 levels A and AA. Each screen was scanned at desktop and phone sizes, and the main screens were also scanned in dark mode.
- Every screen was checked to display at 320 pixels wide without scrolling sideways.
- Operation by keyboard alone was checked: skipping to the content, dialogs, action menus and system messages.
- As of that date, these checks find no remaining issues.
Accessibility features
- Every screen starts with a "Skip to content" link, which appears when you press Tab.
- A dialog takes focus when it opens, keeps the keyboard inside it, closes with Escape and returns focus to the button that opened it.
- Action menus open from the keyboard and are navigated with the arrow keys, Home and End.
- System messages are announced by screen readers.
- Fields and buttons have names that screen readers read out, including buttons shown only as an icon. In sortable tables, the sort order is announced on the column header.
- You can choose a language (Hebrew, English, Arabic or Russian) and a light or dark appearance.
- The schedule includes a list view. Shift details can be edited in a form without dragging.
Known limitations
- The checks were automated and by keyboard. No audit by a certified accessibility professional has been carried out yet, and the service has not yet been tested with screen readers.
- Automated testing finds only part of what the standard requires, so there may be difficulties we have not found yet.
- The service status page was not included in the automated scan.
- Files that users upload, such as documents and images, are outside our control and may not be accessible.
